Founded nearly a quarter century ago, Wellesnet — the Orson Welles Web Resource — will proudly celebrate its silver anniversary in March.
While the Message Board will never be as active as it was a dozen years ago, it remains a valuable resource worth preserving and protecting. Unless you are a bot, you are welcome to lurk or post!
The aging software was no longer compatible with newer site infrastructure and, unfortunately, contributed to repeated site crashes.
To mark our 20th anniversary, Wellesnet founder Jeff Wilson looks back to March 2001 and recalls the birth and early days of the Orson Welles Web Resource.
