Glad to have the notice, Alfred.
Rex will have to go a ways to equal the original Larry Foreman (Howard DaSilva), but anyone reviving this musical deserves praise.
And I must say, watching the version of Tim Robbins' CRADLE WILL ROCK playing rather regularly on the cable channels these evenings, I find it better than I remember it in the theater. Perhaps, Robbins added some scenes or altered his editing for the DVD. At least, Orson Welles and John Houseman, as depicted, are as buffoonish as ever, but they seem to me to be around more, and provide a continuity that I missed the first time through.
Is it my imagination, or were changes made?
