The White Stripes

I was in a record store yesterday and the lyrics of the song that was playing sounded strangely familiar...

The song was "The Union Forever" by a band called The White Stripes and the album is called "White Blood Cells".

The song is made up entirely of quotes from "Citizen Kane"...

Actually, I have the album myself, and didn't think anyone else here would be into garage blues, so I never mentioned it. I knew nothing about the Kane quotes in the song until I was playing the album. I wasn't paying particular attention when it came on, until I heard the line "everything you hate," which caught my attention. I've never seen any mention of the connection with Kane anywhere else, though.
