Goodbye, For Real!

Postby Jeff Wilson » Sun Nov 13, 2011 9:51 pm

So this day has been long in coming, one might say. In fact, in you are the archive-diving type, you can probably find where I first stated my intention years ago now of getting out of this place, and various things, largely my own lackadaisical attitude, led to things dragging on and on, and nobody seemed especially bothered by it. But, eventually, I did finally get down to business, and I can proudly say the business of my divesting myself of Wellesnet is complete. Larry is owner of the site, with Mike Teal and Ray Kelly as minority partners, so to speak, so direct all good wishes to those lucky gentlemen. Things seem to be slowly picking up again here on the board, and hopefully that continues.

The old Wellesnet site, prior to the blog format, has been restored so far as I am capable, so feel free to visit it through the link on the main blog page. Thrill to my (non-existent) web design skills! Read news dating back 10 years! Track how long we were waiting for the Ambersons DVD! There are even some decent pages of info hidden amidst the mounds of rubbish.

Well...that's it, really. I seem to recall farewell posts I wrote before, but again, my thanks to everyone for making this an interesting ride if nothing else over the last decade(!). I might drop in and post from time to time, who knows? In any event, stay well, behave yourselves, and maybe we'll meet again.

Jeff
