Orson Welles: The Television Projects
What may be unknown to casual fans of Welles and the general public is the amount of television programming he developed during his lifetime. Beginning in the 50s and lasting well into the 1970s, Welles used television to explore various topics of interest, as well as present himself to the public in a role he had adopted since his radio days, that of the conversational host. The place that most of these shows hold in his body of work may not be major in most cases, but they are an interesting part of Welles' career.
