Chimes at Midnight: On Set Photos

Note: These photos were provided by Bruno Yasoni, who appeared in Chimes at Midnight as an extra, along with his brother Marc (who took the photos). Bruno told me: "My brother and I (Marc and Bruno Yasoni) were cast in The Chimes at Midnight by Orson Welles in Spain in 1964/65. We spent several months with the crew shooting the film in Madrid, and what seemed like the longest winter I remember, shooting the film in remote locations in Spain. My family attended the premier in Madrid at Mr. Welles' request. We saw the picture once again in the USA in Houston, Texas, as it were, the same night that Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon. The theater was empty except for us - imagine that!!" You can see Bruno (aged 8 1/2) in the top right corner photo, dressed as Falstaff's page. With that, here are the photos; please note that these photos are the property of Bruno Yasoni and cannot be reproduced without permission. Enjoy!
