The five-week Orson Welles 100 series was to have ended Wednesday night at the Film Forum in New York City, but it will last just a little longer by popular demand.

A second stage and film presentation of Too Much Johnson was added for Thursday, February 5, after the February 2 performance quickly sold out.

Now, another showing of Chimes at Midnight will take place on Saturday, February 7, after earlier screenings sold out.

The mega Wellesian film series, which marks the 100th anniversary of the late filmmaker’s birth on May 6, kicked off its run on New Year’s Day. Special guests have included film historian and Welles scholar Joseph McBride, director William Friedkin and Welles’ eldest daughter, Chris Welles Feder. Youngest daughter Beatrice Welles took part in a screening via Skype.

Remaining showings include:

Feb. 2 – Too Much Johnson with a live reading of the play [sold out]
Feb. 3 – A Man For All Seasons
Feb. 3 – Someone to Love
Feb. 5 – Too Much Johnson with a live reading of the play
Feb. 7 – Chimes at Midnight (DCP restoration courtesy Filmoteca Española)
