The Other Side of the Wind soundtrack will be released by La-La Land Records on February 5.

The late Michel Legrand’s original score for The Other Side of the Wind will be released on Tuesday, February 5.

La-La Land Records announced the forthcoming release on its  Twitter  and Facebook accounts today, though no details have been posted on the label’s official website.

The Other Side of the Wind producer Frank Marshall revealed last week in a tweet that a soundtrack album would be released soon by La-La Land.

The finished film featured 45 minutes of music that Legrand composed for the movie, though he provided producers Marshall and Filip Jan Rymsza with much more.

“Michel was so passionate about this project,” Rymsza told Variety last October. “He broke the film down into chapters,” like a novel, “and then he wrote nearly two hours of music, wall-to-wall.”

The soundtrack was expected to include previously unheard music, Variety had reported, though a track listing was not yet available.

Legrand died on January 26 at the age of 86.

He scored some 200 films and television programs, including the 1973 Welles film F for Fake.
