
Actor Miguel Ferrer, best known for his roles on NCIS: Los Angeles, Crossing Jordan and Twin Peaks, died today. He was 61.
Ferrer served as narrator of the 1993 documentary It’s All True: Based on an Unfinished Film by Orson Welles. Written and directed by Richard Wilson, Bill Krohn and Myron Meisel, the documentary utilized previously unseen footage from Welles’ ill-fated 1942 Pan-American anthology. It was named the 1993 Best Non-Fiction Film by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.
He was the oldest of five children by Academy Award–winning actor José Ferrer and singer Rosemary Clooney.
Ferrer , whose big screen credits include RoboCop and Iron Man 3, died from throat cancer at age 61. He is survived by his wife, Lori, and their two sons.
