Re: Reactions to 'The Other Side of the Wind'

I was wondering if someone in the community may be able to assist on a small request. I am follow indigogo contributor and received my poster several weeks ago. Unfortunately my posters were pretty beat up by our (not) friends at the USPS. I've tried emailing info@othersideofthewind.com and othersid...

Re: New Lady From Shanghai Restoration in 2010?

That is very weird indeed that the special features are all on the DVD. This definitely feels like a small release. The the semi bright side at least there are all new special features for the title. The original DVD had a commentary from Peter Bogdanovich...I'm curious how the Eddie Muller one stac...

I've often found that IMDB is one of the least relaible venues for official information (I think my aunt ruth has a better batting average). I'll keep an eye out in the trades and some reliable websites!

Nothing that particularly blew me away but definatly a lot of good insight especially for those who aren't ver...

Tadao hit the nail on the head there Dexy. PAL Anamorphic DVDs are complicated to decode and only a select number of players can display PAL Anamorphic DVDs correctly on NTSC TVs. I remember reading about this issue back when i purchased my dvd player the Malata 525. http://www.hkflix.com/hardware/ ...

On that thread, Stefan annoucned, back in Feb, that his longer cut of Mr. Arkadin would be screen at Lorcano. Did this ever happen? I don't recall it being mentioned, thought the thread above is a tad outdated as we have subtle signals that Stefan's cut will be included in the Criterion set.
