I checked the National Film Board of Canada site and I guess that this is the answer. On the french DVD of Buster Keaton's The General , there's a bonus disc full of extras, including those two films ( The Railrodder and Buster Keaton Rides Again ) AND ALSO footage of Orson Welles introducing a 1971...

Criterion F For Fake

I thought some of you might like to know about this recently released 4-disc compilation of works by french composer Michel Legrand. It finally includes two themes from F for Fake. Just check disc 3, tracks 12 & 13.
And in french Amazon, you can listen to short excerpts of the tracks.

You can check the NFPF website here. In the Mercury Theatre On The Air website you can also find a mpeg file concerning that footage.

Oja Kodar and Stefan Droessler were there and there was some rather interesting talk about Orson. And I saw F for Fake twice in the same week, yessss! It re...

"Gina Lollabrigida" (1958) was about the Roman movie world. She was the leading subject, but a lot of other people were in it- De Sica and so on. The film was made as a pilot for ABC of a proposed series, a sort of magazine- a serious one, not variety. And they hated it and that was the end of that...

1) I agree with Glenn Anders in what concerns I Love Lucy and Around the World with OW . I also like The Fountain of Youth , a pilot shot in 1958, which is very hard to find. 2) Actually, you can find a few excerpts from The Magic Show in the One Man Band documentary, which will be included in the f...

There's also a portuguese edition, titled A Jornada do Medo. Haven't seen it yet, but it probably replicates the french release. I'll post some more information as soon as I get a copy.
