I think I have mentioned this before on another thread, but I think another crack should be taken at a restoration. When the restoration happened in 1991-2 (I remember reading about it in 1991) you did not have the tools that exist now. You did not have the type of digital tools that exist now Look ...

R Kadin, As I posted on another thread, Welles on "Laugh In" or when he hosted or guest stared on the old "Merv Griffin Show" (Oooooooo...Rick Moranis SCTV impersonation of Merv. Maybe John Candy's Orson?!?) as well as any radio voice over work he was doing in the 70's/early, early 80's (Sunrise Con...

I quote from the internet Movie Database: "The voice of Orson Welles was dubbed by Vincent D'Onofrio and Maurice LaMarche which was combined digitally on a computer." As you guys probably know, Maurice LaMarche is the voice of "The Brain" as in "Pinky and the Brain". What I love about that whole sce...

R Kadin, One thing that stuck me when I saw OMB some months back, was when we the viewer were shown what was in Orson's Travel Suitcase. Namely, a very small (and probably very advanced for it's day) editing system, his Camera and Lenses. What stuck me was that in this day and age, I have my own lap...

I know that the Trio satellite/cable network was showing "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In". I remember one of Welles appearances went something like this Welles: (dressed to the nines, the cape, hat, etc.) in a very dramatic tone: "Who Knows what Evil Lurks in the Heart's of Men..." (about halfway throu...

Thank you Andrej for the info and welcome. BTW, I tried to contact Cornith video myself and got no reply. Anyone with ideas on this? BTW, when I picked up my copy (one of the really BAD pd DVD's I think it was from Prism) I showed it to a now ex-co worker. I use to work for the company formerly know...

Jeff, I wonder if this was the docu. I saw on PBS in New York right after Welles passed away. I remember thinking at the time, "boy, the body even isn't cold yet..", not knowing about his last wishes, I guess that point is moot. At the time, It just wanted to make me go out and see more Welles movie...

Am I going to be on his list too? I have been a bit of a lurker here, just readng peoples posts here, wait...

I saw this in the Yahoo Welles forum.
First there was Mark Millar with the Welles 'Bat-Man' project.
Now this.
Good for a laugh or two...
