WELLESNET MESSAGE BOARD

Anyone familiar with this CBC-produced show? Welles appeared on the final episode, so I'm curious if anyone knows what sort of propaganda show (I assume) it is.

I found the background material on the show interesting, the actual remaining footage of the Dominici Affair less so. Without Welles' original narration and connecting shots, it was seemed somewhat boring to me. Worth having though, for the background stuff alone.

The new One Man Band was released to the press, so journalists reviewing it and so on got copies. They pop up on eBay now and again.

I tend to think Showtime won't be airing it, period, due to legal causes. It's too bad, because it deserves to be seen. I definitely need to get a copy of the new one. My bootleg of the European version is not perfect.

But would the stills adhere to the writer's original intentions? The old forum posts still exist, the problem lies in converting them over to the new board. This board came with a converter, but after converting the member info (thankfully we at least still have that), it refused to go any further, ...
