Fathom Events and TCM Big Screen Classics will show in selected theaters Citizen Kane for it's 80th anniversary on September 19th. I will be there if it is shown in the Chicago area.

I am tempted to buy it and i do have a all region Blu-ray player. But there is a good chance that Criterion will release their version on Blu-ray and i hope this year. I might wait for some reviews on it and for now i do have the nice looking French Blu-ray released by Carlotta.

Home Theater Forum is reporting that Kino Lorber home video is planning on releasing Touch of Evil on 4K disc. Details on a release date and extras will come soon.

I think i still have my TCM recording on a disc. I have a Panasonic dvd recorder and the back of my DirecTV receiver has a S-Video connection so i can get a good standard definition copy of anything i like to keep on a blank disc.

I saw the seven minute video and i am also surprised it's still here today. Happy to see folks care and restore parts of our cinema history.

Have the 2016 BFI Blu-ray which looked good so it will be interesting to see how they both compare. I believe film preservationist Robert A Harris is working on the film too.

It will be interesting to see it when it comes out in 2022 and for Amberson's anniversary too.
