Below is what i saw from the website The Digial Bits:

B2MP will release Tomorrow, starring Robert Duvall on Blu-ray/DVD Combo, exclusively on their website (b2mp.net). Pre-orders are on now with an SRP of $29.98 and shipping set to start later this month. Upcoming releases from B2MP include “a Native American silent film Blu-ray set, which will include The Last of the Mohicans and The Silent Enemy in high definition and The Vanishing American in standard definition, and a Blu-ray/DVD combo of Around the World With Orson Welles: The Complete Series, including the previously lost episode, Revisiting Vienna, aka The Third Man Returns to Vienna.”

This is great news. Getting this complete set on blu-ray is something I never thought would happen. Between this and Othello, 2014 is shaping up as a great year for Welles on blu-ray.

Not much news from B2MP lately about the complete, 6-episode "Around the World With OW" DVD, which was supposed to come out last summer.

Here is a webpage on Copyright holder Grays Film Sipirs and their ownership of Around the World. They appear to be based in Paris and specialize in travel videos:

B2MP told Wellesnet it is still working on the collection with plans to release the Blu-ray / DVD set later this year.

The British Film Institute will be releasing a new DVD and Blu-ray of the AROUND THE WORLD WITH ORSON WELLES series this summer...

Hopefully, the "Third Man Returns To Vienna" episode will be included. Also, Chuck Workman's MAGICIAN will be getting a UK home video release from the BFI at the same time.

Just checked the Criterion board. On this thread that you contributed to, Roger, a guy named "Ste" posted that it will be included:
http://www.criterionforum.org/forum/vie ... 29&t=13705

Specs are now up on Amazon UK for AtWwOW:

AROUND THE WORLD WITH ORSON WELLES (Limited Edition Numbered Blu-ray)

A film by Orson Welles

Orson Welles, a hugely successful polymath who forges a career in film, radio and theatre, was little known for his TV work. In 1955, Associated-Rediffusion commissioned Welles to make his first television production, inviting him to write, direct and host a mini series.

Despite its grand title, the series was filmed entirely in Europe. Part home-movie, part cinematic essay, each episode takes the viewer on a fascinating journey to see the famous people and places in key cities across the continent. In Paris, we are introduced to famous artists such as jean Cocteau; in Madrid, we attend a bullfight; and in Vienna, in an episode which was long believed lost, we are taken to the locations of The Third Man.

A unique and fascinating entry in the career of one modern cinema's most revered figures, Around the World with Orson Welles finally receives its world premiere Blu-ray release in this strictly limited, numbered edition from the BFI.

Special Features

- All 6 episodes
- Pays Basque l (1955, 26 mins)
- Pays Basque ll (1955, 26 mins)
- The Third Man Returns to Vienna (1955, 26 mins)
- St.-Germain-des-Prés (1955, 26 mins)
- Chelsea Prisoners (1955, 26 mins)
- Madrid Bullfight (1955, 26 mins)

- The Dominici Affair (Christophe Cognet, 2000, 52 mins): documentary about the incomplete Around the World with Orson Welles The Tragedy of Lurs episode

BTW, Madison is planning to show "The Third Man" this summer as part of the third leg of their 4-part Welles celebration. If they don't show "Third Man Returns to Vienna" along with it, I'll be quite disappointed. It's part of an archive right in the city!

That is very good news since I've wanted to see the missing Vienna episode. On the final Welles class night I ran the Prater Wheel sequence from THE THIRD MAN which none of them had seen. then the 1968 workprint short with Welles turning THE THIRD MAN into a magic show. Naturally I also had to explain who Mickey Rooney and Arte Johnson were but it was interesting top see Senta with the same hair style she had for CROSS OF IRON that I ran last night, a film Welles appreciated.

Review from DVD Talk....did look at the Amazon website and only one copy is for sale thru a third party seller. I know the region B is for preorder at Amazon UK for a August release but the price is over $30 so i will wait and which will be cheaper since i do have a all region blu-ray player. http://www.dvdtalk.com/dvdsavant/s4852well.html

The third party seller on Amazon is the label that released it. So you can either order from their own site or through Amazon, basically. I ordered the BFI edition, as it has a bonus half hour interview from 1967 that isn't on the US edition. They're probably more or less identical transfer-wise.
