The "Almost" Making of an Orson Welles Magic show

I came across a fascinating article written by Frank Beacham a pioneer in the early Betacam days and his story of almost making a video featuring Welles doing a magic show. I don't want to spoil the narrative by giving too much away but it is equal parts heartwarming and sad.
