F.X. Feeney, film critic and historian

Former LA Weekly film critic F.X. Feeney, author of Orson Welles: Power, Heart, and Soul and co-screenwriter of The Big Brass Ring, died on February 5, 2020. He was 66.

RIP. A good Welles scholar and enthusiast, he seemed like a real nice guy too, and even made a few posts here at the message board. I wish I had read his book on Welles, but there were so many Welles books at the time that I never got around to it. From what I've heard about it, it didn't get nearly as much attention and discussion as it deserved. I'll have to check out his BBR with George Hickenlooper again sometime.
