Welles Movie Posters at Posteritati - vintage posters on display and for sale

Wellesnetters in the New York metropolitan area might enjoy dropping in at the Posteritati gallery which has a small exhibit of vintage movie posters of the same Orson Welles films being shown at the Film Forum. The exhibit will run through April 15, 2004. Posteritati is located at 239 Centre Street, between Broome and Grand, opposite the historic Police Department building (now a condo) in downtown Manhattan. The phone number there is (212) 226 2207. Thanks for the link, Christopher. Looks like there are some amazing pieces there- wish I could see the actual exhibit. Just goes to show how Orson Welles was not only a great artist, but was also the cause that great art was in other people. Maybe Beatrice can take some of the money she'll get from selling that Oscar and buy some of these posters for the OW museum.
