Hey everyone,
I'm currently looking to trade/buy Claudia Thieme's dissertation on F FOR FAKE. I could use some dense reading on Welles. If anyone has, you can email me or reply to this post. Thanks!

I would try a university library, then just xerox it.

Yeah, I've found it at USC's library, which isn't too far from where I'm at. That said, I'm not a student and I might have to get a month or 3-month non-student membership. I'll have to check out to see if that'd be worth it financially (hopefully they'll have more than one hard to find book). Anyway, thanks for the advice and I'll be all ears for a while if anyone has any interest in making a trade/sell. Thanks all!

It might be worth it if a membership would get you access to the entire system of libraries that USC belongs to. In that case, you could get a lot of stuff through inter-library loan. I've gotten a lot of good Welles books and videos just from public inter-library loans. University libraries probably have more rare items. Here's an art class at the University of California where Claudia Thieme's book was actually required reading, so they would have undoubtedly sold it in their book stores as well:
