Roger: What I can't comprehend is how a film could be shipped in two separate vehicles, and not all together. Seems kind of...strange. ???

Not that I'm suggesting a conspiracy or anything...

I only reported what was announced at the symposium; I agree that it seems odd. As I mentioned, there wasn't a huge difference between the old and new prints and I consider the Yale audience (myself included) lucky to be able to view the entire film "restored" or not.
