That's great news, Joshua. These outdoor showings seem to be more frequent, in more and more places. Those in attendance bring wine and a picnic dinner, as if it were a concert. A year or two ago, I saw CITIZEN KANE in San Francisco's Union Square on a Summer night. The whole area was packed with people.

Tell us how the event went in my old Home State.

Glenn

This particular showing Glenn was part of the Wexner Center for the Arts outdoor movie series, and was just a fantastic event. It was free and open to the public, featured several trailers for other of Welles' films before the movie, as well as some neat drive-in movie advertisements for bug spray and that sort of thing. The actual film print was a little rough in places, but overall it was a fantastic experience, and there were probably a couple hundred people there. The film received a nice round of applause at the end, and I could really feel that the audience was truly enjoying themselves. One of the best times I've had viewing a Welles film. I really hope this sort of thing becomes much more commonplace around here.

Thanks, Joshua:

If this kind of Welles' presentation works in San Francisco, California AND in Columbus, Ohio, it's "Tomorrow the World" time for --

Whoops!

Sorry, George, didn't mean to step on your jack boot!

Glenn
