Thomas White no longer with Welles estate?

Postby I=Eye » Sat Jan 31, 2015 2:19 pm

Found this at Beatrice Welles's website: "Thomas White no longer is employed as an agent for rights I hold
and all inquiries regarding licensing should be sent to the attention of Mindy Mendelsohn." Does anyone know anything more about this?

Thomas White has represented the Estate for decades. Like anyone in that position, he has admirers and detractors. He and Beatrice Welles parted ways sometime in 2014.
There has been criticism that other than the release of Othello in 1992, the Estate has been seen as a roadblock to new projects.
In recent months, the Estate has signed on to the completion of The Other Side of the Wind, announced plans to publish a book of Welles' early writings and set up an exhibit of his artwork at a Goldenstein Gallery in Sedona.
