In attempts to download two radio shows from "The Mercury Theatre on the Air" web site, using both a T1 and a Cable Modem, I find that the transfer rate is extremely slow, like 17+ hours slow. Is there anyone out there who possesses the files with a better transfer rate or who can pass them to me through ftp or Win-MX or something?
I'm specifically wanting to hear "The Man Who Was Thursday" and "A Tale of Two Cities". The site has them in both Real Audio and MP3, and I assume the MP3 version is clearer, but the size is more vast: 26 Meg for the MP3 v. 6 Meg for the Real Audio file.
Please let me know if there's any help out there for acquiring these two shows. Thanks!

As far as FTP services, I use this site, which has a large library of stuff, including numerous Welles items. I believe it's about $5 for a block of downloads, which I still haven't gone through in several months. Download speed is pretty good, certainly vastly better than the Mercury Theater site times (ie 60 minute program in about 10 minutes or so).
