Thanks to Michael O'Brien for the tip on this. Noted critics Adrien Ross and Richard Brody discuss Orson Welle's life and career on a "New Yorker Outloud" podcast:

Wikipage on Welles's radio career -
Thanks to a longtime Wellesnetter for the tip on this. Here's a great Wiki page on Welles radio career. No idea who did it, but I hope it's accurate since it lists a lot of what have been thought were missing shows as having surviving recordings: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orson_Wel ... io_credits

Bernard Hermann question -
Sorry if this is a little off topic, but I recently heard of a great radio doc that was broadcast on NPR entitled "Bernard Herrmann: A Celebration of His Life and Music" It is supposedly 2-2 1/2 hours long comprised of interviews and excerpts of his music. I was wondering if anyone here knew any info about it, where i can obtain a copy or has it and is willing to trade. I have checked with both NPR and the Bernard Herrmann Society(http://www.uib.no/herrmann/). The BH Society used to have it on their website but it has been taken down, probably for some legal reason.

Thanks Dan. The show can also be accessed through this Google page (the link that contains "KIOS-FM"). It's a good program:

Ah, I didn't realise the forum had ruined the link by doing something weird with the closed bracket. All phpbb forums do that.
It can be fixed by replacing the final bracket with it's hexadecimal ascii value %29 like so.
