Something of an offshoot of the Film Forum fest in NY, although they showed Harvard's own 35mm print of "Chimes at Midnight rather than the new DCP restoration from Spain, this started the 23rd of January, Part one ends on February 8th. Part two will take place later in the year:

Orson Welles was born on May 6th, 1915. We couldn't call ourselves a cinema if we didn't celebrate that. So on Wed., May 6th we're having a 100th birthday party for Mr. Welles. We'll have birthday cake, comments by Bob Hoover (Welles-enthusiast and long-time book editor/film reviewer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette), and a special 35mm screening of Welles' masterpiece CITIZEN KANE. Tickets are now on sale now. We hope you'll join us!
