Re: Two Cheers For Hollywood - new Joe McBride book on Film
Danny Peary has conducted an exhaustive interview on the new book with Joseph McBride that also covers not only Orson Welles, but many of the great masters:

As Joseph McBride says on Wellesnet Facebook, the new book contains his updated research into TOO MUCH JOHNSON among its sixty-four pieces (with introductions to each and a general introduction about why the state of movies is so dismal today).
McBride also has a new book out on the great Ernst Lubitsch:

Joe's updated look at Too Much Johnson contains information on the Madrid fire from Beatrice Welles. She makes the case that a great deal of footage stored in Madrid had been safely moved to Rome for safekeeping, but was stolen. She had inventoried the footage before it went to Rome. It included elements for Too Much Johnson, Don Quixote and Chimes at Midnight.
