From This Week Community Newspapers:
The Columbus Civic Theater’s 2012 season will continue with the troupe’s third production, Orson Welles’ “Moby Dick – Rehearsed!”
It will run from March 22 through April 15, with performances at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.
There will be no matinee on Easter Sunday, April 8.
Columbus Civic Theater is at 3837 Indianola Ave.
“Moby Dick – Rehearsed!” is an adaptation, mostly in blank verse, of Herman Melville’s classic novel by Welles, best known for his innovative incarnations of radio, such as “The War of the Worlds,” and film, most notably “Citizen Kane.”
“In this adaptation, Welles begins with a turn-of-the-last-century acting company, abruptly stopping their rehearsal of ‘King Lear’ to ‘run the new work,’ ” according to Columbus Civic Theater artistic director Richard Albert. “The production uses no props, scant scenery, and no large mammals to portray the timeless story of revenge on the high seas.”
The production features the musical direction of Tony Ludovico and the fight choreography by Jason Speicher.
Albert is directing “Moby Dick – Rehearsed!” The cast features all local performers including Galen Roth, Ben Sostrom, Todd Taylor, Amber Sims, Grace Seiter, Verne Hendrick, Samantha Hunter, Britt Kline, John C. Bryan, Stephen Hanna and Jeff Potts.
Ticket prices range from $17.50 to $20 and are available at columbuscivic.org, at 447-7529 and at the box office on the night of performance.

I'll do my best. I'm not a theatre person by any means, so I'm afraid it won't be groundbreaking stuff.
