Some excellent commentary on the making of the film "and other stuff" containing tidbits many of us are familiar with and a few that were new to me by Bret Wood ("Orson Welles: A Bio-Bibliography"): http://www.filmforum.org/archivedfilms/making3rdman.html

Thanks, No Fake. Anything Welles-related by Bret Wood is worth reading. That Graham Greene story about Selznick getting his scripts mixed up is great.

The 35mm print of The Third Man (celebrating it's 60th Anniversary) will also play in Chicago in late January, along with a new print of Odd Man Out, another classic Reed film. Hopefully both will make their way around the whole country.
