Third Man American version

This past Sunday marked the 70th anniversary of the American release of The Third Man. The film's American producer David Selznick shortened the film by 11 minutes from the original 104-minute British version, which had premiered a few months earlier. Selznick also changed the opening narration and had it re-recorded by Joseph Cotten. I confess to never having seen the American version, which is pretty well forgotten now, although it is said to have been used in a few public domain video releases in the days of VHS. If anyone knows how to get this version, let us know, if only for the sake of curiosity and/or completism

I did a quick search on Ebay and there were many vhs tapes but most of them have the running time of between 100 and 104 minutes. Even the first VHS issued by The Nostalgia Merchant in 1981 has the running time of 100 minutes. By the way i found a Japanese laserdisc that has a listed running time of 120 minutes.

This is the only VHS of the film that we've found so far listed at 93 minutes, but it's PAL format, so it probably won't play on most American VHS players:
