From Wellesnet Facebook. Thanks to Asterios Matthaides for the tip on this, the delightfully dark and Twilight Zone-ish omnibus film THREE CASES OF MURDER from 1955 on Youtube. Welles plays the title role in the last of the three tales, LORD MOUNTDRAGO, based on a short story by Somerset Maugham. It's one of Welles's best roles, and he is reported to have directed some of it. Watch it while you can:

Re: 'THREE CASES OF MURDER on Youtube
The insane party dream sequence (the one with "Daisy Bell" performed as a samba) seems far more ambitious/eccentric than the rest of the episode and would suggest that Welles may have had a hand in staging it. Apart from that, note that the scene between Mountdrago, his wife and physician is the only one in the film to feature overlapping dialogue, a Welles staple.
The entire feature is great fun and I enjoyed the first two episodes as much as the third. Welles' British accent wavers somewhat (it can't help that he is surrounded by native British actors), but he really delivers on the more comedic moments.

I like the other two episodes as well, especially the first one, IN THE PICTURE, which strikes me as somewhat “Usher”-like in certain ways. It’s funny that Welles was rumoured to have directed parts of Mountdrago, but as you said, it doesn’t really look like it, except for the party scene (also, the story seems more Freudian then would have been to Welles’s taste, although he’s great in it). Ironically, PICTURE seems to be the segment with more Wellesian visual compositions. Could he have had a hand in that one as well? No disrespect to Wendy Toye, a respected figure in the British Arts scene, but it seems plausible that Welles might have taken a special interest in this omnibus film, which may have reminded him of his own ill-fated omnibus project, IT’S ALL TRUE.

That is the problem with youtube. Items get removed very sudddenly but we still have goodies such as the pre-restored OTHELLO and CHIMES OF MIDNIGHT around. Hope they remain there.

sok this one is on DVD from uk. There's plenty others that are more difficult to see. I'd like to see Crack in the Mirror and I'll Never Forget What's'is Name, which people sell for ridiculous prices at moment.

Winner's I'LL NEVER FORGET is not one of his better works, very few are. Orson attempts to lend some distinction to it but is defeated y the mediocrity of its director.

The clips I've seen seem funny, and I'm not searching for anyone's best films here or I'd just be watching Othello, Touch of Evil and The Trial over and over again.
