Interesting. I didn't know Fort Knox was the headquarters for the Armored Forces during the war, as well as being the nation's depository for gold. But then, according to Wiki the place is over 100,000 acres, so I guess there was plenty of room for tank target practice.

I wonder how many other military films Welles narrated. I remember reading somewhere about an interview with Einstein, but I don't know if that film has ever surfaced or if it was actually done.
