The music is really good in this Oscar-winning short, therefore the distortion makes it more unwatchable for me. I've had a much better copy in my collection for at least twenty years now, so I can't believe I've never made a thread on this before. I'll have to upload a better copy soon.

I've heard that for old tape decks and vinyl turntables that have wobbly speed, it's simply a matter of replacing the rubber drive belt to get them to work properly again. Perhaps old film projectors need the same service.
Christ, that copy of Sentinels makes me feel seasick. Here's another lightly damaged old film transfer which runs at a constant speed, but much of the audio is distorted: https://archive.org/details/cusb_000046
