Pale Blue Dot

Postby Terry » Fri Aug 17, 2007 2:44 am

A little off-topic, but I wanted to share the link for Lang Kasranov's film for chapter one of Carl Sagan's 1994 book Pale Blue Dot.

The narration is from the unabridged audio book, the music includes excellent Vangelis pieces, the video clips and stills are nicely chosen and edited, and as a whole the presentation is in the style of the classic old Cosmos series.

Most impressive.

I thought it might qualify as a "non-Welles-related film topic."

That it does, but it's not a little off topic, its completely off topic.

30 lashes, sir, for disloyalty to the cause.
