The San Francisco Film Society "360" and The Indiewire are carrying an item about a new documentary by Matthew Sussman (better known as an actor), WHO IS NORMAN LLOYD? opening this week at Telluride. Here is the SFFS report:

Strangely enough, both reports (one just a copy of the other) spend more space on another documentary about a veteran character actress, Mimi Weddell, like LLoyd aged 92. A picture of the pair looking quite chipper at the Festival is dominant. Miss Wedell contributes a fey anecdote on the fleeting of fame (and perhaps a play on the title of Lloyd's documentary). She says that she had remarked that she was born on the same day as John Barrymore, in 1915 (Welles' birth year), and a young woman in the audience had asked: "Who is John Barrymore?"
No doubt, the picture on Lloyd's life and career will have some observations about his long association with both Welles and Alfred Hitchcock.
Evidently, there have been no screenings or reviews of this film yet because the film is not listed anywhere else. Indefatigable Wellsian detectives are alerted to get on the spoor.
