finding unproduced  welles scripts

I have always heard about smiler with a knife or way to santiago .. does anyone know how to find them on the web to actually read? is there a site that sells scripts like this ? or perhaps a site to download these scripts?

I'm not certain that copies of the scripts you mentioned exist outside of the originals archived at the Lilly Library at Indiana University. They can be viewed in the reading room there, but no photocopies are allowed to be made of them.

The University of Wisconsin at Madison has a copy of SANTIAGO (as well as the original manuscript of BRIGHT LUCIFER), but not SMILER WITH THE KNIFE. The Nicholas Blake novel is well worth reading, though. It'd great to get some of Welles's unpublished screenplays on the Net. One of the early drafts of the KANE script is on there somewhere. Or at least it was.
