I sadly have no money that i can send at this time. I did before, and have sent what i could. I appreciated the "Other Side of the Wind" script that Larry French emailed me...it seems like it happened long ago.
I still monitor the forum regularly and am appreciative when anyone is able to post. If there is a lack of activity, I would tend to blame it on a lack of Welles news -- ever since the release of the ToE DVD set and Criterion releases of Arkadin and F for Fake, for instance, there has been much less activity here -- in addition to what i tend to view as the overzealous moderation that has sometimes occurred. That is, of course, only an opinion, and it reflects, perhaps more than anything, the weaknesses of my own personality that I would consciously refrain from posting something purely out of fear that it may be censored. I have always considered the disagreements and confrontations that have occurred here to be rather mild, and have never understood the frustration they have seemed to provoke.

What has happened to Glenn? Have his posts been deleted? I think he has made a good argument about accountability.

Hi, it is great wellesnet.com is still running. I have been a longtime visitor, especially of the main page and the archive. Great resource you can deleve in, even if you have P.B.'s This is OW or other books. I'd hate to see it go...
So I am glad I could still register and make a post today. But looking through this thread it is not very clear how one can make a contribution for the future of wellesnet. Is this done all by PM??
On the other hand some users post news straigth to the facebook page without reference to this board or mainpage/archive. May be activity here could be increased by posting only a short summary on fb and linking to a full/extended version here on this board.
Cheers and good luck for wellesnet

Welcome, Gman66. At the present time there doesn't appear to be any further need for funds, but thanks for asking. Good idea about referencing this board with short summaries on Facebook. In fact, Ray has already done that in his last couple of Facebook posts. Hopefully, both places will continue.
