Interesting look at Welles's hometowns

Interesting tribute from Annette Helen on Orson Welles's various boyhood hometowns, including Kenosha and Woodstock.

Thanks for the link and what a great site with the nice pictures. I was born in Waukegan just 25 miles south of Kenosha so I have seen Orson's house in person.

This is both blood-boiling and tragic on so many levels -- and on a very personal one for Wellesians:

In a way, I'm glad Orson isn't here to see it. In another, I wish he were, infusing the sickening, hideous injustice, as he did with his Isaac Woodard broadcasts, with the righteous fury limned with wisdom and sorrow that only That Voice could -- and would -- so compellingly convey.

Would it make a difference? I'd like to think it would.
