What She Said: The Art Of Pauline Kael
On August 7th a documentary "What She Said: The Art Of Pauline Kael" will be released on dvd & Blu-ray with new interviews and never-before seen archival material. I am sure her controversial essay on Citizen Kane will be in it.

Here's a pretty good review from Neil Minow (for Roger Ebert):

I watched it on Amazon recently and found it very interesting, especially Kael's ambition to create a kind of army of like-minded critics who would do her bidding and bolster her opinions (the "Paulettes"). The film is mostly talking heads, though, so it's hard to imagine why someone would need it on Bluray, but I guess if the new extras are good enough, they might.

I just finished watching it on dvd and liked it. Glad they talked about her and Citizen Kane and she did say in a interview she liked Orson's films and respected him as a director. I think the best parts were the interview with her daughter and archival interviews of directors responding to Kael's review of their films.
