Trump’s approval rating has now plummeted to 29% in the Pew poll. The lowest approval rating ever for a president was 23% for Truman. While it’s mind-boggling that there are that many morons and/or criminals/seditionists who still approve of Trump, it’s noteworthy that he still commands a large part of his “base” (I always find it darkly amusing the Al Qaeda, a nonexistent organization we cooked up, like antifa, means “Base”).
One wonders how some of Trump's former supporters, who could stomach children in cages and hundreds of thousands of Americans killed and blatant racism and sexism and all the other horrors, can still accept his encouraging (or evidently worse = helping plot) the storming of the Capitol to, among other things, kill the Speaker of the House and his own VP. Cheney’s approval rating as VP bottomed out at 19% after all the election theft, illegal wars fought on false premises, and widespread torture. I figure that’s the rock-bottom level of absolute idiots in the country.
Twenty percent of the country believe the Sun revolves around the Earth. It’s the same people who are out of their minds and think Cheney is OK.
