As part of the annual TCM Classic Film Festival, Orson Welles’ Chimes at Midnight will be screened on Friday, March 27, at the TCL Chinese Theatres on Hollywood Boulevard.
The theme of this year’s festival is History According To Hollywood. Also on tap during the March 26-29 festival in Hollywood is A Man For All Seasons, which Welles had a supporting role in.

With news at the recent Sedona International Film Festival that a major label is planning a Blu-ray and DVD release, the film will soon be available to a wider audience.
For those unable to make it to a festival, TCM network will dedicate Friday evenings in May to Welles’ work and include Chimes at Midnightand the recovered and restored Too Much Johnson. Other offering TCM will televise include Citizen Kane, The Magnificent Ambersons, Othello, Touch of Evil, The Lady From Shanghai and Mr. Arkadin.
